Once again my server has taken down my forum stating

Quote Unfortunately we have had to move your website theblueroom.me.uk to a scripting server on IP address 213.171.218.157 because it was impacting other websites on the shared webserver.

The problem is: There were many Microsoft Jet processes monopolising resources and seriously affecting other users of the shared server.

Last time this happened borg gave me a patch which they needed to run on their servers, which I sent them and then nothing else happened, and now this again.

Can anyone help me at all?

You'll get better and moe pertinant responses if you post this in the appropriate forum for whatever forum version you're using. A link to the original thread describibg the problem and resolution woulf also be useful and save some time.

But off the top of my head, if they applied a patch that fixed the original problem, my guess is that the patch got backed out either due to a server restore or rebuild.

Going to your site, I notice that you are using IIS 6.0. There's a known problem with access db connections and a MS patch to fix it. did they apply the patch before?

Also noted the path to the access db in the error messages thrown by your site. It is exposed and insecure. Anyone could be doing things to it. It needs to be at the same or a higher directory level as your htdocs directory.

Hope it gets sorted. If it's a recurring problem and an unmodded forum is the only db app you have, it might be time to change hosts.

yep this is the 3rd time now, and I have sent the same patch over to them again and they say they will look into it.
Im very fed up with them, their support is cold and unhelpful. When asking if changing to an sql database would help matters their end I was informed, we do not offer scripting help.
