So I have a ‘Fusion Professional’ windows server from webfusion (pipex)... big mistake by the way, one of these servers:

http://www.webfusion.com/hosting/fusion-professional-windows-asp-net/

 I have had a series of problems on the server and am now trying desperately to configure web wiz forums. I have stumbled at the very fist hurdle unsure how to enter the configuration data for the database.

The webfusion support pages are relatively unhelpful... this is the information they provide as help under 'databases'

http://www.hosting-support.pipex.net/view.cgi?id=638&menuopen=1,152

I'm at a loss what to put as

strSQLServerName = ""

I have details about the database name, login and password but not the server name.

I have already tried using the domain name and the ip address... I’m now stumped. I'm wondering if any nice people out there can help me resolve this issue. I don't want to email webfusion as they took 3 weeks to reply to my last 'ticket' which resulted in them removing community server from my site after a crash, explaining that is was no longer supported.

I’m lost without a forum and really want this to work

please let me know if anyone can figure out what I’m doing wrong.

Regards,
LB

Your best bet is to phone Pipex, I have used Pipex before for dedicated servers and find their support staff helpful and always quick to answer the phone.
