Some users are reporting missing CHAPTA images when they register. We're getting like 5-10 requests for help every week.

What they are seeing is this:

Notice the missing Security Code. Let me stress again, this is NOT a consistent problem so I'm really lost as to what to tell my users.

Please help.

This could an issue with sessions on the server.

Does the image appear if the user hits refresh?

Also, next time it happens try right clicking the image area and choosing to view the image only in a browser window and see what error message comes back from the server.

You did answer my second question, which is the important one if we are to track down this issue.

As far as I can see I don't have an option of 'viewing an image' in a new browser when I right-click any picture in IE? I can save it, but that's not what you want.

Sorry I'm not an IE user, try using Firefox, it does give you this option.

You should then see an error message from the server, which should tell what the problem is.
