I installed version 8.02 with Mysql (v.5.0.22) and want to use thai language. I got the error below when trying to post in thai:

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while writing to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_mySQL_save_new_post_data
File Name:- new_post.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-5.0.22-community-nt]Data too long for column 'Message' at row 1

Please advise, Thanks.

Try editing the file, includes/browser_encoding_inc.asp in notepad, and change the browser encoding to one that supports the Thai language.
