I have a stranger problem. I changed a user's name from johnny to [bc]johnny and now I can not change it back. When I look for the user it says not there. But when I list the members, it is there. Not sure what the problem is. Can some one help ASAP? Thanks, Norman Picard  |

It's probaly the square brackets that are coursing the issue, and you may need to remove these directly in the database for now. I shall look into finding out how this error has occured. Yes, I changed the name in the admin area. I went into the DB and fixed it. But because this is a gaming forum for AA, when people join they tend to use their clan tags. So I was testing it. Is there a way I can put a disclaimer stating that letters and numbers only? I have had people join and use the brackets and it lets them join but never log in. |
