in our 7.x forum we had a feature called Since You Been Gone, that was a customized Active Items page. It only showed you items that had been updated either as new topics, or edited since you last read them. It helped cut down a lot of the clutter of the Active Topics page.

I am trying to implement it in 8.x, but I am having a dickens of a time finding each place that the replies happen in the database. It seems to be in more then one place.

I've currently updated new_post.asp, and edit_post.asp as those appear to be the two main places that updates are done to the DB. Where am I missing an update?

I think I have solved my problem, and completed the BETA of the MOD. We're still testing it on our forums, but I am happy to share it, if anyone wants to give it a try.

well, I couldnt find where in the script it was calling the table tblSYBG, so I renamed the table to that and changed the name of it in the stored procedures.  Seems to be working now.

Great Mod, Much thanks

I believe when you created the tables, and SP's maybe you didn't take into consideration the WWF table prefix? I looked at my documentation, and I don't see a reference to tblSYBG, but SYBG.

I am glad you got it working though. Honestly, over on my forums, nobody there including me can survive without this feature, it makes it so much easier to read forums that have a lot of action.

I am hoping some day WWF will include this in their source, and give me some attaboy credit. :)

I am glad you like it, and any feedback is very much welcomed so I can improve the documentation and the MOD, and formally take it out of BETA.

BTW...I'd love it if anyone using the MOD, just dumped a quick post in the thread on my forums about this MOD, so I know who is using it...just for fun. You don't need to register to post in this forum...
