When I edit an announcement message, the "announcement (this forum)" property always reverts to "normal" with the 8.03 forum.

Simply editing a message and clicking "update post" will make the announcement a regular post. This doesn't happen if the post is flagged as a "sticky".

Post a new topic in any forum.

In the "Sticky Topic" field, select "Announcement (this forum)"

Enter any subject and body

Post it.

Now, click "Edit" to edit that post.

Notice that by default the "Sticky Topic" field is now "Normal Topic", and not an announcement.

Click "Update Post" and the post becomes a normal topic.
