Wow i'm sure thats great work and an added bonus to some fora but at half the price of a webwiz forum lifetime license it does seem a bit steep.

£19.99, thats a lot of something you might make 10 times that if you are charging for subscribtions? Come on now... you could make that back in no time if your charging for subscribtions.

Wether the price is high or not depends upon how much your time to do it yourself is worth - then factor in the number of subscriptions you're not getting while you're creating it. VBScript - Can the mod handle recurring subscriptions - e.g. monthly fees as opposed to a one-time fee? -------------

I intend to start a version 2 of this mod. I am currently setting up a development blog on my sites forum. This mod will support many features such as the ability to choose between one-off payments and monthly subscriptions, admin backend, donations page and many other paypal tasks.... Indeed, well the IPN has a lot of potential.
Think about making a WebWizForum Module thats a store where the members of the forum can pay to set up their own shop and sell things straight through the forum. This could be for things like Art/Music/Software/etc. ------------- So Sayith the Demon. |

:D Glad I could help. It could be called like ASP Marketplace Script. Could even make a tiny auction script.
Say your message board is for Trading Cards, and one of your forums is for Trade/Sale of those cards. What better than to have your own mini-auction feature. Next to the 'New Topic' and 'New Poll' buttons there's a 'New Auction/Sale' button. The form would be like posting a message, just having extra fields for auction settings. And when someone clicks the topic link to read the topic, there's a small eBay-like table above the thread posts, like the poll-table over the poll-thread-posts. Yeah... and you could have it so the user can choose if the auction/sale expires after X days or not. This mod has been my first mod for WWF. And version 2 is going to be awesome... You could also make it so that in the forum admin section you can set a new auction/sale fee.
