ok, I installed v7 SQL 2000 version.

I wrote a script to register/insert over 100,000 users in the db. Running on local, Memberlist took 6.xxx seconds to query !!! hehe Imagine the speed it runs on a live, shared web server.

Obviously, no one is gonna need to see all 100,000 users. So I'm thinking of developing a method to split things up for much faster performance. This will be transparent to users.

Same principle can be applied for Topics, thread, etc.

Good idea?

hmm ..i see that no one is interested in my topic.

Anyway, I still did it and got the speed improved from 4.6xx to 1.xxx

That's over 4 times faster.
