I get often this errormessage:

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while executing SQL query on database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_mySQL_loginUser()_get_USR_login
File Name:- functions_login.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver][mysqld-5.0.22]MySQL server has gone away

It seems to me that the databaseconnection is lost, but when I remove my cookies I can log into the forum. A page refresh doesn't work. Strange problem.

This error does indeed seem to indicate that the connection to the mySQL server has been lost or the mySQL server is busy and has timed out.

you should contact your web host about this issue and see if they are able to find a solution to the connection problem.
