I have just posted a new Topic. I then click on the Edit Icon beside the Topic name to bring up the Topic Admin window. I select 'Closed Topic' checkbox and hit OK and I get the following error message.
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005' Query-based update failed because the row to update could not be found. /bulletinboard/pop_up_topic_admin.asp, line 165 The Topic and the new post are displayed in the Forum but I can't edit the Topic.
I'm using mySQL version 8.03 ------------- I still miss my ex, but my aim's much better now.

mySQL with the myODBC driver can be very buggy at times. Try changing line 98 of pop_up_topic_admin.asp to:- strSQL = "SELECT " & strDbTable & "Topic.Forum_ID, " & strDbTable & "Topic.Subject, " & strDbTable & "Topic.Priority, " & strDbTable & "Topic.Locked, " & strDbTable & "Topic.Poll_ID, " & strDbTable & "Topic.Moved_ID, " & strDbTable & "Topic.Hide " & _ ------------- https://www.webwiz.net/web-wiz-forums/forum-hosting.htm" rel="nofollow - Web Wiz Forums Hosting https://www.webwiz.net/web-hosting/windows-web-hosting.htm" rel="nofollow - ASP.NET Web Hosting |
