My new website forum has an issue with the header section that only shows up in Firefox and Safari.  Things don't seem to be a problem in IE.

The problem is in the header section of the forum pages only.  The rest of my website does not show this behavior.

The header seems to be stretched out with a spacer above and below the banner as seen here (again open in Firefox or Safari):

If you click on the page links under the banner for any other pages on my site, the problem goes away.

The code for the forum header is a simple nested table:

http://www.bikeweb.net/code/header-code.htm - http://www.bikeweb.net/code/header-code.htm

The code for the footer is the same:

http://www.bikeweb.net/code/footer-code.htm - http://www.bikeweb.net/code/footer-code.htm

I've tried to find the problem in the CSS file but that doesn't seem to be the problem, does anyone have any clues?

Thanks

In your header you have a <p align=center>, remove this part then in the <tr> tag above it change it to <tr align="center">. This should hopefully clear up the problem.

Thanks, I changed the code like you suggested and I still have the spacing in the header.  Again, this is only with Firefox and Safari.  Any other suggestions?

Here is the code again:

I'm afraid not, you will just need to keep messing with the HTML code till you find a solution.
