Hi All
i have an aviation related site that uses WWF and I was wanting to incorporate some way of having a chat/discussion etc on a specific topic with a guest speaker say once a month and I am unsure of the best way i could incorporate this into the forums/site.

I thought of using a chat room but the only alternatives I know are ASPChatNow but I believe it is buggy but I could be wrong plus the mod of this in a thread here is only for Access and I am using MySQL. The other is ConquerChat but I believe this is limited to 10 users per room.

The other thing about a chat room is that a question is asked and whilst the special guest is typing a reply more questions are asked and everything ends up in a muddle but perhaps a chat room is the only way to go.

Any suggestions or ideas is really appreciated

ASPChatNow is not buggy if you download the correct mod. People say its buggy because they are to lazy to setup it up properly so it doesnt work.

The chatroom doesnt use a database, so it will work regardless of what database you are using.

Thanks MadDog - I am giving it a bit of a play and have installed it plus used the code to list the active users in the Chat Room per the post at:
forum_posts.asp?TID=20696 - http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=20696

Is there a way that:
1. only registered members can go to the chat room
2. If a guest tries to go to the chat room they are met with the forum registration page
3. The login is bypassed and the members forum login name is used

Thanks very much for your help thus far
