Hey Borg The new forum is just brilliant and you deserve a huge amount of credit for that one. I have a small question regarding the username field in the tblauthors table. I noticed that you've got max 15 characters in the register.asp file for the username field but in the database the field is set to max 25 characters ? Shouldn't these two match a little better ? I thought 15 characters was a bit small for the usernames so i changed the register.asp to allow upto 25 characters Skeever |

The larger amount is becuase some usernames are encoded on the way into the database for security reasons meaning that an encoded username could be larger than 15 characters.
