Banned IP's only reduce the user to that of a Guest, so you would need to block access to the forum to Guest users to do this.

That is a feature that I'd really like to have also. I did have some custom code that worked until I upgraded to v8.x. Then it quit working. |

You can add a global.asa file and put a redirect in it - use the session_onstart event. global asa only fires for asp pages though. -------------

If you have access to the server you can also specify to deny access to your site for certain IP addresses or ranges.
