I just downloaded and installed the latest WebWiz forums. Changed the admin account. Locked the forums. Then logged out.
WebWiz now refuses to allow me to login, so I can't unlock the forum.
I searched these forums for "locked" and a couple of deviations, but nothing came up.
What's the fix for this?
This is the SQL Server version BTW.

My apologies, I hadn't realised there was a support forum, and searching for the word "locked" across all forums produced nothing of interest.
The referenced admin.asp page doesn't appear to exist on my site. I'll head over the the support forum (if I can find it!) and see if I can find what I'm looking for.

the support forums are http://forums.webwiz.net/default.asp?C=2 - located here the reason the it wont let you sign in, is because you locked the the forum (obviously) as the forum doesnt know if your a normal user or an admin. to unlock the forum you need to go back to the admin area. if your using version 8, type "admin.asp" in the forum folder (eg www.yoursite.com/forum/admin.asp) or how ever you set it up if your using version 7 type "/admin/" in the forum folder (eg www.yoursite.com/forum/admin/) or how ever your set the forum up ------------- S2H.co.uk - http://www.s2h.co.uk/wwf/" rel="nofollow - WebWiz Mods and Skins For support on my mods + skins, please use http://www.s2h.co.uk/forum/" rel="nofollow - my forum . |

Thanks Scotty32. That fixed it.
Problem was that I had modified the admin.asp file last night according to an instruction I found posted by boRg. And that caused the page to error when I attempted to load it.
Removed the update and was then able to bring the forums online again.
