When one toggles to HTML view and validate for upload, most of the time there is a bug. Actually it will write the tag <BR> systematically at the end of each code line. Is it possible to fix this or is the solution to come back to Editor mode before updating ?

I've not come across this in testing but the RTE uses the built in RTE API of the web browser you are using, so different web browsers and different browser versions of the same browser will do things in a different way.
IE has a bad habit of re-writing code, and the HTML it produces is awful, so I would use Firefox instead as it's Midas API used for RTE is much better and produces cleaner code. Hopefully IE 7 will address some of the issues that the present IE RTE API has.
