I didn't mention that as the displayed version number isn't important but I expect for updating checking it could be. Good call mate, I guess an auto check could be good and keep up the security. Altho it would have to be well implimented as most net apps i use with intergrated auto version checking, i turn it off as it usually causes more problems than it's worth! Of course i'm sure you'll find an elegant soloution ------------- Handyman man? |

I was planning something more along the lines of a notice in the admin section informing the user that a new version has been released this way they don't need to manually check for new versions and the user can still decide to upgrade or not.  I sure hope the next revision is that easy. Though somehow, I'm thinking there will be many more files to edit.
