I have noticed that when I add an ordered list or an unordered list and then add a new paragraph after the lists it resets my CSS when displayed in a HTML form.

For example when I type:

List
  • List
  • List
List
 ------------------------------

It shows up in the web page when viewed:

List
  • List
  • List
List

I was basically wondering in what ASP file inserts the format tags.  If I go back in my database and add a </p><p> after the </ul> tag it solves the problem.

Thank you.

You have been a huge help with my other questions.

This formatting is not done in any javascript but is handled by your web browser on the clients side.

The RTe uses the built in Rich Text Editing features of the browser which creates the HTML. IE 6 creates bad HTML, but Firefox creates much better HTML. Try using a different browser and you will find the results different.

I'm looking forward toi see if IE7 has improved the HTML produced by IE's Rich text Editing.
