Hello Friends,

Will any body help to rum two forums in one database. What will be the possible solutions. as two forums will be on the same server and i don't have option to add new database.

Please suggest me the possible solution as i am not technicaly sound in SQl,

Web Wiz Forums is designed so that you can use two forums on the same site using the same SQL Database.

What you will need to do is for one of the forums edit the file includes/setup_options.asp, in notepad, and change the following prefixes:-

Const strCookieName = "WWF"
Const strAppPrefix = "WWF"
Const strDbTable = "tbl"

Change the parts in red to a new name, this will change the prefix name for cookies, application variables, and the database tables for one of your forums.

Then just run the setup instructions the same as you would for a normal setup.

Once complete you can have two different forum systems running on the same site and using just the one SQL Server database.
