The problem for me is that i wannot insert all files of RTE application in the same folder of my others ASP files....

So i had put RTE folder into directory where i have my asp page....

..and i call included file RTE_edit_inc.asp specifing the correct path......

....example

.... <!-- include file ="RTE/RTE_edit_inc.asp"-->

But nothing appear...

So, ma question is....

How can i do to use different path for use RTE application ?

I'm afraid that the RTE will only work if the RTE files reside in the same folder as the file you want to insert the RTE into.

Well, this doesn't make sense.  if you have a large website with many directories of organized applications and would like to do code-reuse on one section to the next by implementing the RTE to replace textarea fields, you are telling me you have to copy ALL the files into each directory?  WHAT THE F#$#?

The best part of a month, full-time was spent on developing the forum to work in a different directory so the user could have the RTE in another directory to the page it is included in, but the problem as that the RTE is so complex that it was difficult to do, and the end result would have been an application that would need a degree to be able to set it up.

Web Wiz RTE is one super product, but I need that option too (to show RTE outside of it's folder). In next version of WW RTE will be that possible ?
