I deleted the post with the massive install log file that you posted as it is the wrong log file.

The error suggests that IIS is not installed correctly. Try uninstalling IIS and then reinstalling it.

This isn't really a support question for Web Wiz Forums, but rather an issue with IIS so it is a bit beyond the scope of this forum.

You should try asking this on a forum for IIS, also do a search on Google and Microsofts web sites.

I just entered the error message into google and lots came up, but I'm afraid that I don't have the time to troll through it for you.

I don't know why you get the error as this isn't anything to do with the Web Wiz Forums software but an IIS configuration error so it beyond me.

The only thing I could do is spend a few hours going through pages from Google searches trying to findout how to fix this issue, but I'm afraid that this is something that you will need to do yourself as I don't have half a day free to do this for you.

Possibly but as this isn't a forum for help on IIS I would imagine you would be better of posting on a site that is on that subject.

The only thing I can suggest is what I do in your circumstances, is to spend hours going through countless searches on Google until I find a solution that works. I know it's not fun, but quite often it's the only way.

There have been a few cases were I have spent months tracking down an issue, till one day I find some little snippet on a web site that fixes the issue.
