I am running version 8.04 on a sub-domain, with version 7.92 on my main domain. I have no problems logging into the forum on the main domain.

It sounds like the server you are suing has issues with holding the ASP session and application variables. Contact your hosting company about this.

If you get no luck with them edit in notepad the file functions/functions_session_data.asp you will find instructions on how to setup your forum to use the database to hold session data instead of the web servers memory.

Hi borg,

I have been experiencing this same problem for a few days. It suddenly occured. My forum was working properly before.

I set that variable as "true" in functions/functions_sessions_data.asp but problem persisted.

Can you suggest me anything else?

OK, I have finally solved my problem. Here is the solution:

1. remove all old cookies.
2. use "domain.com/forum" instead of "forum.domain.com" as the forum address
