I tried to install Web Wiz Forum while according to the Installations instruction.

Server Windows 2003 and SQL Server 2005.

ISS is running and contains already several domains, how ever none with database access.

I defined also a empty database, added the database access information to database-connection.asp. Running msSQL-server_setup.asp shows a dialog that requests login information for the database. After entering the requested data and pressing continue a message I issued saying that the database can�t be accessed.

How can I trouble shot the ISS to database connection, or where can I find instructions to correctly setup user rights?

Cant any one please give me a hint?

It sounds like this is a setup issue with SQL Server, so you maybe better asking at a SQL Server dedicated site.

But a few thinsg to check, make sure that SQL Server Express is setup to allow TCP/IP connections to it.

Also, SQL Express sets up with the default instance name SQLEXPRESS, so when connection to it on a local host PC you would use the following server name connection:-

localhost\SQLEXPRESS
