Here is something strange. If you enter an invalid e-mail address when you register in version 8.03 on my server, it gives the following page:

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while sending an email.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_mySQL_send_mail_footer
File Name:- functions_send_mail.asp

Error details:-

The server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server response was: 550 test@test.com is absent.

Is this what its supposed to do when an e-mail bounces?

It all depends what email component you use, but some can course the actual email component to throw an error at times, which is what you are seeing, an error from the email component.

If you change to a different email component you shouldn't see this error.
