G'day,

I'm Jeremy Travers and I have been appointed Forum Administrator for my school's SRC. Fell free to check out the Forum I've set up so far (link is in my profile Smile)

I have downloaded the Access 2003 Guide to my computer, but when reading the FAQ's and instructions, I have failed to understand them.

So I was just curious if:

  • I could get help from a professional on how to set this forum up
  • It was possible for the forum to be set up at http://eaglevalehighsrc.forumcircle.com - http://eaglevalehighsrc.forumcircle.com ; and
  • It was possible to get a skin, avatars, and star ratings as shown on http://www.aac.adfc.gov.au/forum/default.asp - http://www.aac.adfc.gov.au/forum/default.asp

Thanks,

  • Yes, you can get forum support by posting your queries on the support forum.
  • Yes, why not... as long as that site runs on a windows server with Active Server Pages (ASP) support. Most Windows servers do.
  • Yes, you can do it yourself. There is also a number of nice skins already made by WWF members as showing on the skins forum. You also have the option to make you own skin/theme by editing the CSS files of the forum.

Um, okay, I downloaded the SQL Version this time and it said that it needed FTP. Can you get FTP for free or?

http://eaglevalehighsrc.forumcircle.com/ appears to be running apache/unix. WWF needs iis/windows.

Thanks. That was helpful.

I signed up to somee.com. If I were to PM an expert with my site password details, would they please be able to add the WWF software to the site?

Thanls again.
