I came across something a while ago which I thought was a great idea, but it's in PHP  .Not only is it a hit counter but it does the following: Shows percentage and numbers for: The top 25 Browsers/Operating Systems/Extensions/Robots Plus other useful information. |

Sounds like a log analyzer. Check out AWstats.
