A number of my members said they recieved an error (saying that they were not allowed to spam) when posting a new message. This is because they had pressed the submit button twice.
Is there a reason why the submit buttons on post reply / new topic / quick reply forms shouldn't be disabled once they are clicked? I have changed it on a test install just copying a line of javascript code from the search page - and it seems to work well.
I think this would be a good thing to add to 8.5 (or 9.0).... if it hasn't been already.

It did use to do this, for quite some time, but allot of users reported issues with this with some versions of IE, which left users unable to post at all, so it had to be dropped.

So do I, but everytime I try to sneak it back in I get people reporting that their members can not post because of it.
