It probably won't be till the end of this month, but I am having to wait on third parties to get work complete ready for the release, so I can not say for certain.

Style switcher will need to wait till version 9 as it would require database changes.
The issue with quotes has been fixed for the next version

Yep I saw that mod scotty - Thanks...
I was hoping it would be implemented on the next version to save me modding the forum, as I find it a pain to keep upgrading modded versions of WWF... But looks like I will be using your mod after I install version 8.5 ..

(I know you're working on it, just curious...)
Thanks.

That was last week. Borg's kid should be spitting out code for 8.5 by now.

At the present time a new site is being developed for Web Wiz Guide as the present site is becoming a bit long in the tooth and the main items people come here to find are hidden away. This hopefully shouldn't take to long.
Version 8.5 is not going to be released, instead it will now become version 9 as some database changes are required to accommodate some new features, including using a new XML system for configuration so that new features can be added without database changes. Version 9 will also include a completely new look and a user skin selector with at least 3 default skins supplied with the default install all using professionally designed icons from Awicons, and Glyph Labs.
All this work is going along at a good pace at present so unless any unexpected or difficult to solve issues arise all this will hopefully not be to long to wait for.

Pardon me for being a pain in the backside...
When you say "not be too long to wait"... are you talking a few days, or a few months, or what? (because it sounds like a lot of changes). Just curious, because I'm really looking forward to the quote fix and was wondering about how long to tell my members it would be.
Thanks, and congrats on the new child!

The anwser to that is much like 'how long is a piece of string' because until development starts on various parts you can not tell how long it will take as you don't know what problems or complications that can occur.
I would like to say a few weeks but the reality is that it is very difficult to be able to tell, as often support questions and other admin tasks can side track and slow down development.

Understood. Thanks!
(Don't suppose there could be a hot-fix for the quote issue? Just asking... I know you're busy!)
