Hi,

I want to install a sql forum on one of my websites. But editing the server informations (name, password, server) I do not have access on the msSQL server setup.

It shows me only the window:

Before you can use this page to create the tables, defualt values, stored procedures, etc. in the
SQL Server Database you first need to create an empty database on the Microsoft SQL Server.

Please Read!!
Enter a username and password in the box below that has table creation/modification
rights at the SQL Server database you are using.

This may not be the same user that you have used in your SQL Server connection string!

SQL Server Username:
SQL Server Password:

I already talked to my SQLServer provider. They confirmed me that everything is ready to create the forum on the Database and the authentication details are right.

What can I do?????????

Contact your hosting company to confirm that the connection details they have given are correct.

Also to make sure download the free Express version of SQL Server Management Studio from the Microsoft SQL Server site and try connecting to the SQL Server using that so that you can be sure that the connection details your host have given actually do work.
