Hi,

First I wan't to say
I like to use your software borg. Embarrassed

I know there an Member API script for if you use your own db to store member username and pass, I did create an new site and wan't to use the forum db and the blnAdmin blnGuest etc, my question is what is the best way to do it?
  1. Copy Common.asp en edit the path's to "forum/"
  2. Make an own script that reads the db?

I hope someone can help me whit this question.

Keep up your hard work borg Smile

if you want to use the forums member table on your own site, just include the common.asp file into your pages and you can then use the database

the common values are:
strLoggedInUsername (i think) is for the username,
lngLoggedInUserID is for the members id
intGroupID is for the members group id (eg 1 for admin, 2 for guest)

to find out all of them go to "forum/includes/loggin_user.asp" (or simular)
