I've got an older forum version installed (7.96), and I wanted to see if there are any gotchas that I would need to look out for before upgrading to 8.04. The current forum is pretty well used, and would cause a lot of heartache and discontent if the upgrade nuked it all. I've been browsing the forums here for answers, and haven't seen anything. Could it be that the upgrade path is really as simple as putting the new version in place (with necessary backups and putting config files into place afterwards)?
