Hi,

Please look at this screenshot. In this forum we have 9 sub fora. All looks good in Internet Explorer, but in Opera I get 17 sub fora! Some of my fora have this, some don't. Very strange.

Even stranger, the forum statistics are also wrong in Opera.
At the moment we have about 15.000 topics in 61 fora, but as you see below the extra subfora are not only shown but also counted. So in Opera we have alost 29.000 topics and 101 fora.

Who can help?

I had a look and extra forums are not shown depending on the browser you use.

It would seem that this is a permissions problem, you have probably setup some forums that are hidden to some users, like to Guests. When you are viewing the forums in other browsers you are more likely not logged in as the same user which is why you are shown different forums.

It looks like I found the problem. The moderators have their own forum, which is hidden for all other users. We don't use the group moderators, instead I gave our moderators individual permissions/rights. I now removed the individual rights and put the moderators in their own group with specific rights. Now everything goes well.
