Hi,

I am working in Dreamweaver and have notice that when I insert a flash file into the document I can view it in design mode. However, when I go and test it in Firefox or IE it doesn't appear.

I was informed by another co-worker that pages where updated to fix the bug for IE 6 - so you would not need to click to activate it. The pages were updated with the following code

<script src="../../../Scripts/AC_RunActiveContent.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

I believe it has to do something about this and haven't figured out how to view the flash.

Any help would be appreciated,

First of all does your site require a flash file! Becoz the flash sites are non-SEO friendly. You could face a serious setback while optimizing it for search engines. So just think a while regarding it.

The solution your coworker suggested only activates the flash object for IE. It doesn't impact FireFox.

If you can't see it in either IE or FF, I'd think it's either a path problem or you set up the object and embed tag pair wrong.
