is there any way of uploading Video files to a post???
In what ever file format so that it can load and play in the Post?????

| Not sure if there is a way of doing that. But with the popularity of youtube, you can show youtube videos with minor code modification on your forums. I guess that could be an alternative in case you can not add videos the regular way. |

yer it could get messy... but i could restrict the forum to not allow replys...
I've seen it done with google videos in the forum topic.... but to upload a video to a part of the forum would be really good...

I to like this idea, as it beats having to outsource video hosting to YouTube etc... A simple check to make sure it's the first post and if so allow video upload would work efficently. ------------- Handyman man? |

you can allow uploading via those extentions, then could MOD a peice of code like [FLASH][/FLASH] to add code to insert the move player with the link to the movie file.
jackal ill tell you more later online.
also may have to discuss this with your host, because depending on size and frequancy of use
 could be costly on Bandwidth and server side |

Ok... I've managed to use the file upload feture on the site... i've increased it so it will accept up to 8mb know... The Next Problem is... When the video is uploaded .avi I need it to coose a Program on the people computer to allow it to play...
Or does it need to be in a [movie] [/movie] tag...
