After I have gone from 7.9 to 8.4 no one can create polls anymore.

I have to give permission to every single user again, which is over 200 members, that can't be right? - I have tried using Group Permissions but no luck.

Any advice on how to make it work for my members again..?

I think it states it on the "migration tool" page that permissions will all be reset and you have to login to the control panel and change them as you had them prior to migrating from the old version to the new one.

When you give a certain permission (such as creating polls) to a Group, all members under that group should be able to create polls.
