I'm using version 7.9 of the forum and wondered if there is anything I can use and maybe missed to manually activate new members ? I'm getting a lot of Spam/Advertising and un wanted members joining at the moment, I just need a way to make sure they don't automatically register. Hope that makes sense :S? K :) |

You would nee to upgrade to version 8 then enable the feature to allow only the forum admin to vet and activate accounts via email.
