I am a novice at getting rid of certain things I have tried advice from here to remove the  Comcast Reboot helper square but I cannot get rid of the DA_N thing.I really need help in kindergarten terms.I am using Windows XP professional.PLEASE HELP!!!

So this is a software that Comcast offers for you as a customer? If so, then they should be familiar and should offer support for such a product, call tech support.

I have spoke to 3 of their techs and they don't have a clue I get more off of google but I cannot do it because I either don't have the info for my system XP professional or I cannot figure out exactly all what is being told I know the add/remove and files but I just cannot fix it.Thanx for the reply!!!!Chiplw

Well, looking at their website they don't seem to have a product with that name. When you spoke to their techs, did they give you the steps to uninstall it? Did they walk you through any troubleshooting procedures?

Do they have a tool designed to uninstall that software out of your PC?

Hi Info tech,I appreciate you staying w/me on this one!!!.I just so happened to read another incident and I went to a site that I downloaded a repair site free of charge and it had a version 4.0 but I didn't want to use it because it had some imperfections so I used 3.1 I believe and it found 2 problems so I removed them and I have not seen the REBOOT box since.Thanx Again I appreciate your concern,Chiplw
