It's no good posting a link up to a forum were we dont have permissions to!

Either describe the problem in more detail or post up a screenshot.

I also tried to join up to see the problem but on clicking the activation link i was faced with a error message in another language.

Ah i understand now.
This is all down to permissions, As an administrator from default you have permissions to create all types of posts but as a normal user (as default) you don't.

In the permission section of the admin menu you can set individual users or groups permissions. For example give a user or group the permission to post calendar events and it will appear when they go to post a new topic.

The same goes for all functions that can be performed, chances are if they don't show up then that user doesn't have the permission to do said function.

Strange....
I have 2 administrators on the forum with the same rights.
But.. one write with the first edit (see above) and one with the second edit.
How is that possible ???

You must set the permissions for the group (or per member).
