Hi there, I have installed XAMPP on my own machine and Apache2 failed to installed. This is there error message I got: "Ports 80 or 443 (SSL) already in use! Installing Apache2 service failed!" Any information to go about correcting this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, rcorr |

A lot of sites have stayed away from Apache 2. They dropped some features that were very commonly used in 1.3. IMHO, 2 seems to be a bit slower that 1.3 as well but I couldn't prove it.
