Die von Ihnen vorgenommenen Änderungen an der Tabelle konnten nicht vorgenommen werden, da der Index, Primärschlüssel oder die Beziehung mehrfach vorkommende Werte enthalten würde. The error message is in not in English so it's not possible to tell what the issue is. If you translate the error message could probably help you.

The translation by bablefish brought the following:

The changes at the table, made by you, could not be made, there the index, primary key or the relationship several times occurring values were contained. If you change the data in the fields, which contain same data, remove the index, or you redefine the index, thus double entries are possible, and you try it again.

The error occours, when creating a new thread.

Forum is running a while without troubles. Since yesterday I got the troubles. Perhaps something in the database is wrong?

I thin it is version 8.02.

Thanks leiti, I now know what the issue is from the info you have given.

The problem is that your access database has become corrupted. What you will need to do is download the Access database, open it in MS Access and from the Tools menu select, 'compact and repair database'. Once this is done reupload your database to the server.

While you are at it you should look at upgrading the rest of the files to the latest version 8.05

I am sorry. This didn't solve the problem. The database seems to be corrupt.

I thought about updating and would do, as far as the database is stable again ;-)

Any ideas, how to solve this problem exept installing a new one?

This is the problem with Access which is why it carries a warning on the download page, because it's a desktop database it's not very good with web sites.

You may need to start again if you can't fix the database, this time use a proper database like the mySQL or SQL Server version as this would not happen with them.

Problem only occours when creating a new thread. An answer in an thread is working fine!

mySQL or SQL Server would be used, if provider supports it ...

would it help to delete all indexes?

Did you actually download the database and run a compact and repair on it?

Yes - but it didn't help!

edit: is there a chance to download a empty database and insert the old records?

There isn't sorry.

This is the problem with running Access if the database becomes corrupted and you can't recover it you lose the lot.

You may be able to copy across the members table through, but if you are going to keep running Access there will always be the danger of it happening again.

there must be a solution.

What does the error mean? How can this error occours?
Is it because of indexes? is it by database design?

Problem was found!

There was a topic in the database with start ID "0" and end ID "0". I deleted the entry and now everything is working.

edit: thanks for helping and investing your time!
