Again, let me preface this by saying I am importing threads and topics from a very old version of WWF from '01.

When using the Search_form, I'm getting timeout errors.

I tried first by increaseing my connection timeout to infinity and that hasn't helped.

Is the problem because all the posts are imported and not original to this version or is there something else I can do to prevent the timeouts?

The search on this forum is like lightening compared to my site. I'm running Server 2003 SE with a P4 and 2gb RAM.

You may need to upgrade through a few versions, not directly from x.x to 8.x.
