Hi everyone.

I just did a new install of web wize forums version 8.5 (I also installed 8.4 same issue). Its basically a fresh install with very few settings changed. The only thing have changed is admin password, and the URL config fields.

I have created 2 catagories, with each having 3 forums, and 1 having 3 sub forums.

These forums are not locked, and do not have a password set and are not hidden.

I have tried viewing these forums with an admin, guest and standard user. I have not changed any permissions and all of them have the access permission set to allow.

I checked my MSSQL Server (2000) and none of the forums are locked or hidden.

I have spent the last few hours reading the install files and trying everything I can come up with, is there something I am missing?

Try deleting the existing catagories/forums... and re-create them.

Just tried that, didnt do anything. Looking at the database in enterprise manager everything seems fine though...

O and also user registration and login works fine, you can view profiles and edit them, so its not a database or IIS issue.
