Hi,

I purchased a copy of WWF with the intention of sharing documents on the forums on my site. But i have noticed that just like this WWF forum, there is no file upload facility. I have looked for the upload facility in such files as RTE_setup.asp for a funnctionality that allows me to enable this but cant find anything. All i find is the image upload utitility, which i want to leave as is.

But when i look at the stand alone RTE program, the upload facility is available. On trying to integrate it into my purchased forum, everything works out until i get a "Stack overflow at line:0" error when the textarea is enabled. So i can see that the error is in the textarea line.

Having checked the forums for help on this, can't find anyone else with the same problem.

Please advise on how to sort out this problem, or whether there is a copy somewhere with the file upload facility.

File uploading is built into Web Wiz Forums to enable it you simply need to check that the Upload configuration page in the admin area has the correct details and that you give users permission to upload files using the permissions section within the admin area.

Don't try integrating the standalone editor as it simply will not work.

All you have to do is

log in to admin panel
Go to File and Image Upload Setup and Configuration
Put all settings like you think it does works.
Got to forum admin
Select the forum where you want to upload.
Tick for each group that may upload "Attach Files"
