I've upgraded to 8.05 and all was well. Just last night and continuing I get the following error when attempting to logon (admin account)

Error: Un-Successful Login
Your login was un-successful due to a session tracking error.

login_user.asp? - Click here to retry logging into the Forum.

I haven't changed anything in the browser settings and can logon ok using Firefox. Confused

EDIT:

I just tried to logon to the admin section (about ten times) and each time got the CAPTCHA error saying that the security codes did not match. I couldn't have gotten it wrong ten times. Again Firefox no problem.

EDIT: More info. I just tried a logon using my local version and logged on OK.

Sounds like another cache corruption problem in ie. Try clearing the cache and restarting the browser. IE handles it's cache a little funny and it's prone to getting corrupted.

Thanks dpyers, that was it. I wonder if this is happening to our users? I guess it can.

It's quite a common thing to happen with IE, you'd have thought they'd have figured out a fix with IE7 but to no avail.

Even the logon screen with Windows Live Mail tells you to clear the cache if you have log-on problems
