Apple Safari users are having issues filling out my site's forms.  On my side, the info that is submitted has an extra character in front of it.  For example, if someone fills out "Walter" in a text field and submits it, my script receives it as "-Walter".

This is playing havok with my validation script.  I don't have this problem with Firefox, Netscape, Explorer, or Opera, or any other browser.  Just Safari users.

I tried looking on the Internet to see any mention of a bug, but I've seen none.  Actually, I don't see mention of any bugs on Safari after 2005.  Is there a way to work around this?

Let's try a different route:

(1. Has any Safari user ever successfully submitted a form to an ASP page (or does the site block you)?

(2. Has any ASP web developer had problems on their site that only affected Safari users? Especially with forms.

Just a simple verification of the bug is all I need at this point, although a solution would really help.  Thanks.
