Permissions are set to allow me to upload images. I have uploaded images without a problem. Something changed in the past couple weeks. I select to place an image in the post. The image upload/link window appears. I select the image to upload, and select upload. The image uploads to the server in the uploads/temp file. But it will not place the image in the post I am typing.
I check my uploads/temp file and find the image is present.
I have altered the image upload window to eliminate showing all of the uploaded images to everyone who wishes to upload an image. I tried it out afterwards and had no problems uploading the image and having it placed within the post I was working on.
What am I doing wrong to prevent the image from being placed in the post?
Also...
Is it possible to change the time out period that logs me off while I'm typing a message in a post?
Thanks...
Jim

Jim
I have been using an upload for a couple years and I've just started having problems. Firefox uploads files with no problems, but IE7.0 uploads the files but does not display the image. What browser are you using?

I use Firefox, always the latest release.
The problem I had was caused by my having altered several of the css files. I found a post here on the forum that gave the instructions for changing several things in several css files to eliminate all of the uploaded images from showing up for everyone to see them. After I used the changed files with no problems for several months, for some reason it all went into vapor lock.
I was instructed by a contact at Web Wiz Host to put the css files back the way they were. I had saved a backup. When I restored them the problem went away.

Thank Jim.
I too have add that code, but didn't think that was the problem. Will have to investigate further and see if that is my problem too.
Thanks
P.S. Will give an update if this is the problem.
