I have a site where I don't care whether the users log in or not (i want the least hassle possible for the users) and so I don't require logins.

Hello, I think, last year I asked whether CAPTCHA will be available for the Message Post pages when you are not logged in and someone responded that it might be in the future.

So, my question is whether the feature has been implemented?

Yes, the futre has been implemented. Guests now need to enter the captcha security code to post.
