I have forum that is setup for post approvals. My question is; is there anyway to know which threads have posts that are pending approval or do we have to search all the threads looking for them?

I have a similar question. I have a few members that are causing problems on my forum. Is there anyway to setup individual members for post approval?

Yes you can use the member permission system in the admin area to setup permissions for individual users. Give the user 'Post Approval' permission on whichever forums you like. They will need to have their posts approved.
To view which posts require approval click the 'Hidden Posts' link at the top of the page, this will then display a page for admins and moderators that will display any posts and topics which require approval.

You need to be logged in as the forum admin or be a moderator in a forum that you have moderation rights within.
Once you you will see a link up the top of the page next to Active Topics, called Hidden Topics.
This is only available in version 8 onwards.

I probably don't see it because I have a custom nav? What is the filename of the module that runs it?

you can get to the Pending Approvals page by going to forum/pre_approved_topics.asp
