In the database the length of username is 25 character.

In the application only 15 character. Why?

We are using "real" names as usernames,
and like to see 25 characters in the application,
without changing a lots of asp-files...

I can only guess, but the use of accented characters in names would be mine. � shows up as one character in an input area but would be recorded at 4 or 5 on the db.
